The joys of spam
A few weeks back I was sent an email from my bank telling me that there was fraudulant activity on my account and I needed to call a number. Since it looked legit being the email from my banks address and with the logo, I decided to call.
Apon giving the number my information, I felt as if I had been had. Soon after I get another email from my bank saying that there was a scam going on and to call the bank directly. I did and to my surprize there was an attempt to withdraw from my account in Bulgaria.
My bank cancelled my card and they said within 5-7 days I should get a new one…After 2 weeks without a debit card, I called the bank and they sent my card to the wrong address. Seriously???
I now have to wait until they get the card back and then they are going to resend it!!!!!!!!
I’m a card kinda girl, keeping cash on me is not something I am used to so these past weeks have been interesting to say the least.
